Product Availability & Pricing
All products offered for sale on this site are subject to availability from the manufacturer and warehouse stock. Otaku Underground LLC cannot be responsible for changes to products that may not be communicated to us, nor cancellations due to restricted availability or cancellation of items at the manufacturer level. The fulfillment of orders placed is strictly subject to such availability. Additionally, any orders placed through this site are not considered fulfilled or accepted until the actual shipment of the product from the Otaku Underground LLC, distributor/drop shipper or manufactures warehouse.
Except where noted otherwise, the retail price displayed for products on our site represents the full retail price listed on the product itself, suggested by the manufacturer or supplier, according to industry standard.
Otaku Underground LLC exercises due diligence with regard to making sure all items available through our catalog are priced correctly, however, occasionally, a small number of items in our catalog may be mispriced, no adjustments are made in cases where prices are changed in the normal course of business at Otaku Underground LLC. If we do discover a mispricing before your item has shipped (and your payment has been processed), we will do the following:
If the item's correct, actual price is lower than the stated price, we will adjust the customer's charge by refunding the difference to the lower price and automatically ship.
If the items correct, actual price is higher than the stated price, we will contact the customer and offer the customer the choice of being charged the correct price and shipping the order out or cancelling/revising the order.
Please note that it is our policy that credit card payments for merchandise will be billed to your card at the time of check out and proceed with shipping your merchandise (Including pre-order items). If your item is on back order from our suppliers and informed of the back order. With the back order, the following options will be provided:
- Waiting for the back order
- Cancelling the order and issuing a full refund.
Prepaying for the order will also set the order to a higher priority over orders placed before while on back order.
Product Box Condition
Otaku Underground LLC will do it’s best to provide product boxes in the best condition that we can, but we cannot always guarantee mint condition product box, as many manufacturers view the product box as shipping protection for the product, and not as part of the item, and as such do not guarantee box condition.
Shipping
Domestic Shipping
Otaku Underground LLC reserves the right to determine the shipping carrier for orders, with most orders being shipped using the United States Postal Service or appropriate carrier for the supplied address and item. Otaku Underground LLC also ships some products directly from the manufacture/supplier, in these cases an equivalent shipping provider and method will be chosen from the provided manufacture / supplier’s available shipping method. In addition, Otaku Underground LLC will only use its own shipping accounts and cannot use one provided by a customer. In addition, Otaku Underground will not mark any package as a Gift, and the end user is responsible for all taxes and tariffs.
If an order shipped by Otaku Underground LLC is shipped and the shipment is refused or sent back to us, the order will be cancelled, and the order will be refunded minus the original shipping cost to and back to Otaku Underground LLC. International Shipping
International Shipping Powered by Bongo International Checkout
We have partnered with Bongo International to service our international customers.
At checkout, choose your international destination from the country drop down menu. Once you select your country and attempt to check out, you will be automatically transferred to Bongo's Secure International Checkout page where you will be provided with international shipping costs as well as duties and taxes for your shipment.
Upon completion of your order, Bongo will charge your credit card for the entire purchase and then re-purchase those items from our site on your behalf. We will ship the goods to Bongo's Global Distribution Facility and they will be forwarded to your international address.

Handling Times
Otaku Underground LLC will do diligence to get orders that are in stock out on the same day they are ordered, but there is a two to five business day handling time for all orders especially for items shipping directly from suppliers and manufactures. Orders placed over the weekend, US holidays, or during conventions can take longer than two business days, in these incidences the orders will be shipped out within two business days of the next business day after the event or holiday. Direct Ship Items
Direct Ship Items are items that are shipped directly from either the manufacture or a authorized supplier of the requested items. Items that are direct shipped, can take from two to five standard business days to ship from the warehouse. Mystery Box Items
Prepackaged Mystery Boxes
Some items in the Otaku Underground catalog are pre-packaged from the manufacture in a mystery box format. In cases of Mystery boxes, we will include a list or image showing the possible versions included in the product box. As these products are sealed from the factory and are a mystery to Otaku Underground, we are not able to provide a requested product version of the mystery box.
Otaku Underground Mystery Boxes
Otaku Underground Mystery boxes are a selection of random products from a select product category. The contents of each mystery box will contact a product, or collection of products that retails equal to the cost of, or more then the total cost of the mystery box price listing. In addition, each mystery box will contact an example of what possible product types will be included in the mystery box.
Mystery Box Sales & Returns
All sales on mystery box items are final and are not available for return.
Preorder Items
Preorder Availability
Some manufactures, distributors and suppliers release items with a limited production run and availability. Otaku Underground LLC will fulfill all pre-orders in the order that they are placed with older orders being fulfilled first up to the more recent orders be fulfilled last or until preorder stock is exhausted. Otaku Underground LLC will with our best effort try to fulfill all orders to the best of our ability. If Otaku Underground LLC is not able to fulfill all orders as placed, the original order will be cancelled, and a full refund issued to the customer with a notice being sent to the customer.
Limited Preorder Items
Some manufactures, distributors and suppliers release item(s) as limited quantity items. In these cases, Otaku Underground LLC will attempt to fulfill order(s) to the best of our ability. Orders will be fulfilled in the order that they are received with the oldest being fulfilled first to the most recent until stock is exhausted. Orders that we are not able to fulfill will be cancelled, and a full refund issued to the customer with a notice being sent to the customer.
Preorder Cutoff Date
The preorder cutoff date is the last day that we can guarantee that we can get non-limited preorder items from our manufactures, distributors, and suppliers. Orders received after 11:59pm eastern time on the preorder cutoff date cannot be guaranteed to be available. Otaku Underground will do our best to fill orders that have been placed after the preorder cutoff deadline but cannot be guaranteed as orders placed before the preorder cutoff date will receive priority.
Preorder Release Date
Due to the sometimes-unpredictable nature of manufacturing and supply chains, Otaku Underground cannot guarantee the accuracy of provided product release dates, as these are a best effort estimates provided by manufactures and distributors/suppliers.
Preorder Payment
Otaku Underground LLC requires full payment for all orders, including preordered items at time of checkout. When a preorder item(s) is purchased, you are purchasing a reservation for the item(s) that you are preordering. The Preorder reservation will be applied to your item(s) when they arrive at our warehouse, and we will proceed with shipping your item(s).
Preorder Cancelling
A preorder(s) may be cancelled at any time by the customer, with a 10% order cancellation fee will being assessed on the total order amount of the cancelled item(s) and associated shipping fees. Otaku Underground LLC also reserves the right to cancel any preorder(s) at any time, orders cancelled by Otaku Underground LLC due to stock limitations, or other issues caused by Otaku Underground LLC will be issued full refunds with no cancellation fee being assessed.
In Stock Order Cancelling
A non-preorder order may be cancelled at any time by the customer, with a 10% order cancellation fee assessed on the total order of the canceled item(s) and associated shipping fees. Otaku Underground LLC also reserves the right to cancel any order(s) at any time, orders cancelled by Otaku Underground LLC due to stock limitations, or other issues caused by Otaku Underground LLC will be issued full refunds with no cancellation fee being assessed.
